The Role
As an Experienced Swimming Pool Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing swimming pool systems to a high standard across commercial and/or residential sites. Your role will include:
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of swimming pool plant and equipment
- Fault finding and repair of pumps, filters, pipework, and circulation systems
- Testing, monitoring, and adjusting water quality and chemical dosing systems
- Working on filtration, heating, and disinfection systems
- Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive service work
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Completing job reports and service documentation accurately
- Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and reliable engineer with proven experience in swimming pool systems.
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Swimming Pool Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of swimming pool plant rooms and systems
- Experience with pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing equipment
- Ability to fault find and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Professional approach when dealing with clients
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Industry qualifications or pool-related certifications
- Experience working on commercial pools (leisure centres, schools, hotels, gyms)
- Electrical or mechanical background
- Knowledge of health & safety and water treatment standards
