Pool Installation Project in Birmingham
Within weeks of moving into their new home, a Birmingham family was keen to really make it their own… starting with updating a tired-looking pool. With young children, safety was a top priority. But, they didn’t want to compromise on aesthetics. The couple turned to swimming pool contractor James Chapman of JB Elite Services for advice.
The pool now features new Spectravision LED lighting from Golden Coast which adds both light and movement into the pool. JB Elite also created a focal point for the pool area: an LED-backlit waterfall. The timber-cladded and tiled unit also houses the pool’s DEL automatic slatted cover.
“Our main aim was to inject fun and style into the pool area, while keeping maintenance easy and making it a safer place for everyone to use – regardless of their age, says James. “Because it’s LED, this family will have 50,000 hours – practically a lifetime – of use… without ever changing a bulb! “We’ve managed to create a pool that is perfect for family life – it is fun, safe, and low-maintenance. What’s more, it’s energy-efficient, too!
